Teacher SwapToday was Teacher Swap Day at St. James Catholic School! During the last hour of the school day, students had the opportunity to experience a different classroom and teacher as faculty members switched grade levels for a fun and memorable end-of-year activity. Our students enjoyed meeting their "new" teachers, including Ms. M in TK/Kindergarten, Mrs. Wenker in 1st grade, Mr. Martinez in 2nd grade, Mrs. Veit in 3rd grade, Mrs. Garcia in 4th grade, Mrs. AJ in 5th grade, and Mrs. Luna in Junior High. Teacher Swap Day is always a favorite tradition, giving students a chance to experience different teaching styles, participate in engaging activities, and build connections with teachers throughout our school community. Laughter, learning, and plenty of surprises filled the classrooms as both students and teachers stepped into new roles for the afternoon. The excitement and enthusiasm throughout campus made for a wonderful way to celebrate the end of another successful school year. Thank you to our amazing faculty for embracing the fun and helping create lasting memories for our students! 8th Grade Pinning CeremonyOur 8th Grade Pinning Ceremony was held yesterday, marking an important milestone in the lives of our students. Surrounded by family, friends, faculty, and fellow classmates, our 8th graders proudly received their pins while reflecting on the memories, friendships, and faith-filled experiences that have shaped their journey at St. James Catholic School. The pinning ceremony is a cherished St. James tradition, symbolizing both the accomplishments of our students and their readiness to take the next step in their educational journey. As they prepare to graduate and move on to high school, the ceremony serves as a meaningful reminder of the values, faith, and sense of community that have been instilled in them during their years at St. James. We are proud of our 8th graders and all they have achieved. May they carry the lessons learned, the friendships formed, and the strong foundation of faith they have built at St. James Catholic School into the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. Senior Clap Out 2026The Class of 2026 recently returned to their old stomping grounds at St. James Catholic School for a special visit filled with smiles, memories, and celebration. Our current students had the opportunity to welcome these alumni back to campus and recognize their accomplishments as they prepare to graduate from high school. Seeing these seniors walk the halls once again was a reminder of how far they have come since their days at St. James. Their journey has been filled with learning, growing, challenges, and achievements, all of which have helped shape them into young adults they are today. As they prepare to take their next steps into college, careers, and new adventures, we are proud to celebrate all they have accomplished. We thank them for returning to share this milestone with our school community and wish them continued success in the exciting road ahead. Congratulations, Cass of 2026-we can't wait to see where your future takes you. |
