School Uniforms
Overview
Students should have a neat, clean and appropriate appearance within the uniform guidelines as stated in the Parent Student Handbook. All uniforms must fit properly and be worn in an appropriate way. Large, baggy, torn and oversized uniforms are not permitted. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. Skirts and shorts are knee length. There is a uniform check every morning by the homeroom teacher. If your child is not in uniform including proper haircut, socks, shoes, belts, length of skirt, etc. the student's parent/guardian may be called to bring such items to school and or to pick up your child to get a haircut. Mandatory Liturgy Uniform The Liturgy uniform is worn on Mass days, special occasions and field trips. Liturgy uniform includes a tie and vest. Mass days are listed in the calendar on Gradelink. Please be sure to check the dates when your child needs to wear their Liturgy uniform. P.E. Grades K-8 P.E. uniforms are worn to school the day the student is scheduled for P.E. class, with the exception of Mass day or special days when the Liturgy uniform is mandatory. The fleece jacket/sweats may be worn over the P.E. uniform, but not instead of the P.E. uniform. Uniform Issues Uniform issues should not take up valuable time in class. As parents it is your responsibility to be sure that your child comes to school in his/her proper uniform. Casual and Dress Uniform There are three uniforms: a casual uniform, a Liturgy uniform and a Physical Education (P.E.) uniform. For details click below where it says "Download File".
